Dune
About Dune: Dune came to 10 Lives in April of 2025 as an extra suprise kitten from a litter of supposedly 4 that was actually 6. Dune has truly impressed every person (and even every veterinary provider!) he’s ever met with his darling personality. Despite the frequent vet visits and poking and prodding, he has always displayed a never ending capacity for love, and he particularly craves human affection. You can think of him as the extroverted, charming, life-of-the-party in every room he enters. Ever-bold and always-affectionate, there isn’t a shoulder or a lap he won’t curl onto for hours, purring, dozing, and content. He is always looking for a new human friend to give a gentle head-butt or the closest lap to curl up into. Dune is also a lover of all cats and always makes fast friends with any feline companion. We are so thrilled that we gave this boy a chance and now he is ready to find his forever home.
Dune's Care needs: Dune eats a prescription kibble diet with an automatic feeder which makes mealtimes very straightforward and he takes MiraLAX mixed with Churu once daily. Dune will no longer require additional procedures and should stay on his special diet and laxative on an ongoing basis. We are willing to provide an adopter with all the supplies neccessary to set him up for success.

Buddy

Whether you’re looking for a lap cat to cuddle with or a playful companion to brighten your days, Buddy is the perfect choice. His interests include the occasional zoomies, feather wands, lounging in sunny spots, and offering gentle headbutts as a sign of affection.
Buddy's Care Needs: Buddy was diagnosed with asthma and requires a daily inhaler to keep his lungs healthy and to keep coughing at bay. Buddy also overcame a bad bout of skin inflammation and hair loss that is now well under control and behind him. But he will continue daily maintenance of his asthma with a quick puff from the “Aerokat”. Buddy is always compliant with his medication and looks forward to being rewarded with of a little dollop of Churu after each treatment.

Honey Bunches of Oats
Honey Bunches of Oats is a sweet young kitty whose heart is definitely bigger than his brain. He’s just a really good & fun dude. Honey Bunches loves to cuddle, take long naps by your side, and soak up all the affection he can get. He’s a playful little dude who never lets thinking get in the way of having fun
He had a rough start and was born with atresia ani type 2, but he’s a little champ. After two successful surgeries, he’s now pooping and peeing like a normal cat.
Honey Bunches' Care Needs: Honey Bunches for the most part is a normal kitten. He requires some monitoring to adjust his very affordable over the counter MiraLAX to keep things moving, but honestly, who doesn’t?

Dr. Pepper
Dr. Pepper was born on the campus of Columbia University at a construction site and was rescued after one of the moms of these two litters was killed and hit by a car.
Dr. Pepper is a secret genius. Like most girl kittens, she's the brains of the operation. What operation, you ask? Charming you into hot wiring a car and stealing it for her. Like her brother Sunkist, she may be a little shy when she initially meets you, but don't be discouraged, she's a total lover. She's also devastatedly adorable and has tufts of black fur on the ends of her ears that make her look like a lynx and help her communicate directly with her mothership. Is she planning an alien invasion and cat takeover of the world? Maybe! So start sucking up to her now, because she'll remember one day!
Dr Pepper's Care Needs: In order to manage her condition, Dr Pepper gets oral medication in the form of Calcitriol, Miralax, and Calcium Carbonate. Two of these medications are over the counter and very affordable. All the medications are given in very low amounts and she takes them with no problem!

Rootbeer
About Rootbeer: Rootbeer was born on the campus of Columbia University at a construction site and was rescued after one of the moms of these two litters was killed and hit by a car.
Rootbeer is a hurricane personified (or catified, if you will.) He's the happiest, silliest little boy, always playing? Always curious. He has amazing unintentional comic timing, and his face always looks genuinely surprised which is a joy to behold unto itself. He truly has no idea he has special needs. His boldness and flair for the dramatic is endlessly entertaining. He's also a major snuggle bunny, and if purrs were music, his purrs would be heavy metal. He'd do well as a single cat, as he gives major only child energy. He likes to play with no fewer than 2 ball-in-track toys at once. If you need a little chaotic good energy in your life, this is your dude.
Rootbeer's Care Needs: In order to manage his condition, Rootbeer gets oral medication in the form of Calcitriol, Miralax, and Calcium Carbonate. Two of these medications are over the counter and very affordable. All the medications are given in very low amounts and he takes them with no problem!
